Using your gifts and talents to teach Sunday morning program for elementary school age children with lessons provided by Children's Ministry staff.
Looking for:
Someone who is comfortable leading small to mid-size group of children in activities and exercises
Able to lead discussion and re-telling Bible stories
Kid-friendly energy that both engages and makes children feel they belong
One hour on Sunday morning (ideally once a month)
One hour during teaching week to review lesson provided
Using your gifts and talents to support the lead teacher in lesson activities and classroom management on Sunday mornings.
Looking for people to:
Comfortable with small to mid-size group of children helping to lead activities and exercises.
Kid friendly energy that both engages and makes children feel they belong.
One hour on Sunday morning (ideally once a month)
Using your gifts and talents to help share a positive message of God's love to elementary school age kids in a fun and energetic way
Looking for people to:
Be a small group leader
Lead crafts, Bible storytelling, games, kitchen/snack prep, music, skits, role play
Help with decorations, set up and clean up for VBC week
One Saturday afternoon to help set up and decorate
Available for 4 days of VBC from 9:00 - 12 noon
Greet families, children and middle school students as they check in for Sunday morning programs. Run the check in computer and print name tags.
Looking for people to:
Have a welcoming smile and a positive upbeat presence
Ability to remember names
Comfortable using a computer and basic check in program
30 minutes (15 minutes before start of service and 15 minutes after service)
Ideally, twice per month
Using your gifts and talents to teach elementary school age kids Christian songs and/or using basic percussion instruments
Looking for people to:
Love music and have a desire to share talents with school age children
Work with Children's ministry to create an opportunity for kids to be exposed to music in a fun and low commitment way
Communicate ideas and need for resources clearly with Children's ministry staff
Limited time program after service; frequency dependent on availability, possibly for seasonal worship (Lent/Advent)
Using your gifts and talents to work with and get to know the students and to make lasting intergenerational connections.
Looking for people to:
Assist with Sunday morning youth groups/youth trips
Be fun & lighthearted
Willing to learn as well as teach
One hour during service on Sundays
Occasional special events as needed
