Discipleship: Lead a Book Study

Description

Ability to read books, study guide, and view videos (if applicable) and guide people in discussions about the material.

Able to make a wide range of people comfortable and help them get to know each other.

Able to use monitor, online streaming platforms, trouble-shoot problems or work around them to keep the class going.

Able to move chairs and tables, or willing to ask participants for help.

Looking for:

• Someone who loves to read

• Comfortable leading a class based on curriculum

Commitment

1-2 hours per month (dependent upon any ongoing study series)

Discipleship: Event Set up/Clean up

Description

Help with set up and clean up for various Discipleship events. This could be for crafts activities, book studies, movie nights, etc. 

Looking for:

• Ability to lift 10 - 15lbs (folding chairs, tables, boxes, etc.)

• Willingness to help set up during one or more services

• Great to have Computer/Apple TV experience (can be trained)

Commitment

1 - 2 hours per event

Discipleship: Photographer

Description

Attend various Discipleship events and (with person's permission) take pictures showing groups of people throughout the activity. 

Looking for:

• Friendly face while taking pictures

• Knowledgeable about taking pictures on personal phone or camera

• Ability to select key photos and transfer them digitally to the office

Commitment

1 - 3 hours per event

Discipleship: Craft Connections

Description

Using your spiritual gifts to host a craft activity that is simple for others and can be done in a timely manner.

Looking for:

• Someone who enjoys crafting and has a friendly demeanor

• Able to instruct folks of all abilities step by step

• Ability to help folks feel comfortable 

• Assist with obraining and/or setting up craft suppliles

• Can work videos or Apple TV to help with instructions

Commitment

1-3 hours per event (dependent upon the craft offered)
