Aid for the hungry

Donations provide McDonald’s gift certificates and bus passes for the homeless and hungry in Livermore.  The bus passes can be used for rides to appointments and services within Livermore while the gift certificates provide a much-needed warm meal to those who need it most. 

Amercan Indian Center

A nonprofit Christian transitional housing program that helps men who are struggling with homelessness due to the loss of a job, having recently been released from prison, drug and alcohol problems and lack of family support.

Serves more than 14,000 members of the Tri-Valley with comprehensive medical services. Their medical services are available on a sliding fee scale to help patients get medical care that they need.

creative autism solutions

CAST's goal is to demonstrate that people with autism who have limited verbal skills have fundamental intelligence and can communicate and demonstrate competency as valued productive, creative members of civil society. 

Their mission is to provide an environment that helps Chinese-American children and adults to thrive.

International Rescue

International Rescue Refugee Project Committee responds to the world’s worst humanitarian crises and helps people whose lives and livelihoods are shattered by conflict and disaster to survive, recover, and gain control of their future.

They purchases bikes to assemble and give to charities to distribute to those in need. They also hold bike repair/safety clinics to help maintain bicycles for the less fortunate.

LHR provide a clean, dry, and safe refuge for people who need a place to stay with dinner and breakfast, a sleeping mat, and a sleeping bag. The Refuge opens when the weather is forecasted to be at 45 degrees or less or there is a 20% chance of rain or greater.  

Livermore school nurses

Mission funds are used to help support the nurses of the Livermore School District.  The nurses in our Livermore schools provide items such as glasses, new shoes, warm jackets and rides to medical services for the most-needy students and families in the district

Monetary donations are given every year to each school in the Livermore School District. This money can be used as needed by each of the principals in Livermore. 

Teams are deployed throughout the world to install clean water filter systems. Typically, the water systems are installed in churches, orphanages, schools or medical clinics, and are capable of providing sufficient clean drinking water for an entire community.

Provides survivors of sex trafficking with long term services, in collaboration and support with several community organizations, to allow victims to go through a process that takes them from a place of victimization to a realization that they are powerful, valuable, precious and loved.

They are forging ways for poverty stricken women and girls in post-war Sudan and post-quake Haiti to learn, connect and lead.

mission outreach (n2n)

This is an FPCL program that plans and creates opportunities for our church to engage in acts of service and kindness that strengthen and help our community. These opportunities are intentionally designed to be “anonymous” acts of service and are accessible to people of ALL AGES. Neighbor2Neighbor is one way that our church seeks to “bless” our community without expecting anything in return. 

Is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs ages 14 and older. On one night, February 9, 2018, 537 churches from around the world came together to host Night to Shine for approximately 90,000 honored guests through the support of 175,000 volunteers!

Serves others with love to help feed the hungry. Open Heart Kitchen’s mission is to offer nutritious meals free of charge to the disadvantaged people of the Tri-Valley.

Dedicated to supporting the Mars Elias Educational Institutions and individuals committed to achieving peaceful coexistence and mutual respect among the peoples of Israel and Palestine.

They alleviate hunger and eliminate its causes. They use education and sustainability to help those who are hungry feed themselves and retain their dignity.


Provides gender-specific responses to chronic homelessness. They offer supportive housing and a full array of recovery services that enable residents to confront the trauma of the past in a healing environment while developing independent living skills.

Dedicated to urban youth who suffer from neglect, abuse and exploitation by showing God’s love through acts of kindness and generosity.

This is a local shelter whose mission is to free women and children from the destructive cycles of homelessness, addiction and abuse.

Serving adults and children who have experienced homelessness, domestic violence, or sexual assault. They are a safe place, above all, for people who need to be protected before they can begin moving forward. Tri Valley Haven is a place that is committed to helping strengthen a person that is hurting and building a culture of personal empowerment for them. They are the rape crisis center, homeless services and food pantry for the city of Livermore.

A Christian Youth Ministry, that focuses on introducing teens to Christ and further developing their faith. They believe when caring adults come alongside youth, they begin to see that their lives have great worth, meaning and purpose.

FPCL also holds two special offerings throughout the year

Palm Sunday our One Great Hour of Sharing offering provides major support for immediate assistance in the wake of natural and human-caused disasters. It also helps support ongoing ministries of food, shelter, health and peace. One Great Hour of Sharing directs 100% of designated gifts to be used for the assistance and support to those in need around our world.

Presbytery Peacemaking Fund: This supports the Presbytery Peace and Global Witness Offering which enables the Presbyterian church to promote peace by addressing systems of conflict and injustice across the world.  They advocate for peace and justice in cultures of violence through collaborative projects of education and Christian witness.
